Facilities for Campers
All camping is on grass. Pitches are allocated on a first come first served basis, unless you belong to a club and have a members camping area organised.
Free hot showers, wash and toilet facilities are available (some are luxurious!). No electric hookup is available.
New for 2019 DVF has teamed up with Happy Glampers Dorset, based just a few minutes away from the festival site in Wareham, to offer a luxury camping option to this year’s festival goers! A 5-metre Kokoon bell tent is pre-erected ready for your arrival on site and fitted out with pre-inflated bed(s) – and more - details and pricing information.
Fire Pits & BBQ rules / Fire hazards
Fire pits & BBQs are allowed but MUST be kept off the ground. Don't leave them unattended. Please make sure you have enough water, a powder fire extinguisher or some other means of putting out flames in case something goes wrong! Ideally, please wet the ground around your BBQ in case sparks fly.
Disposing of used coals & portable BBQs - please use metal bins provided, NOT regular waste bins. Don’t dispose of any portable BBQ until you are sure it is cold & dead!
Please don't litter - drinks cans and glass bottles left on the ground can ignite dry grass. If you smoke, please dispose of your cigarette ends with care - use the metal bins provided.
We really would prefer you not to use an independent generator in the camping area. If you must then it will need to be diesel (our H&S people are likely to be checking) and run only during the daytime - so long as you're not annoying anyone. Please be considerate of other campers.
DVF 2019 printed T-shirts, Hoodies and Stickers will be on sale at the bar in the main marquee
Yes, dogs are 100% welcome at DVF but please keep them on a lead in the show area.
Don't leave dogs unattended in cars, and don't forget the poo bags! We will provide dog drinking water in bowls at various places around the site.
If you see a dog, or any animal, suffering in a hot car please call the Police on 101 (or 999) and/or advise a member of the DVF Security team.
There is plenty of car parking at DVF, on a large field in front of the main event field; on the right as you come up the lane (look out for the signposts). Parking is included in your ticket price.
For stallholders only (setting up) gates open Thursday until about 8pm, and from 8am on Friday
10am Friday for weekend Campers only
6pm Friday for casual drop-ins (£5 entry to be paid on the gate, live music & bar until midnight)
9am Saturday & Sunday (Day Pass admission charges apply)

There’s also a cocktail bar and other refreshments are available around the trading village.
