Weekend Camping Passes £35 / £20
Online sales ended 2nd July. Weekend Camping Passes can be purchased at the gate, £35 Adult (anyone 17 yrs and over), £20 Teen (12-16 yrs). Children 11 yrs & younger go free.
Facilities for Campers
All camping is on grass. Pitches are allocated on a first come first served basis, unless you belong to a club and have a members camping area organised.
Free hot showers, wash and toilet facilities are available (some are luxurious!). No electric hookup is available.
Fire Pits ban / BBQ rules / Fire hazards
STRICTLY NO fire pits & open fires this year - sorry, it's just been too dry and there's been too many problems at other events.
BBQs must be kept off the ground and you must have enough water, a powder fire extinguisher or some other means of putting it out if something goes wrong! Ideally, please wet the ground around your BBQ in case sparks fly. The field is tinder-dry, there's no rain forecast, we need to keep people & vehicles safe folks!
Disposing of used coals & portable BBQs - please use metal bins provided, NOT regular waste bins. Don’t dispose of any portable BBQ until you are sure it is cold & dead (see the post from Vee Dub Family below)!
Please don't litter - drinks cans and glass bottles left on the ground can ignite dry grass. If you smoke, please dispose of your cigarette ends with care - use the metal bins provided.
Entry Wristbands (online orders)
Entry to the Volksfest is by wristband. If you bought Weekend Passes online your wristband(s) will have been posted to you within a few days of your ticket purchase confirmation. If you haven't received them by 9th July please contact Richie (or message him via Facebook) as soon as you can, including your Order No in the message.
Wristbands aren't posted out for children 11 yrs or younger (free entry) - you can pick them up at the gate on arrival.
Friday Evening - £5 entry for casual drop-ins
Friday evening bar & live entertainment is available to holders of Weekend Passes and to casual drop-ins. Not ticketed. Just come along from 6pm and pay £5 entry on the gate. Beer & music end at midnight.
Please do not bring your own alcohol or any glass, neither is allowed in the show area, thanks.

- Sunday between 9am - 5pm (or 6pm for soccer fans wanting to stay for the game, screen & bar in the main marquee)

Saturday Night Camping
Saturday night camping is offered at £25, pay on the gate. If you arrive after 4pm we'll only charge you £20.
World Cup play-off and Final
Yes, we are showing the games. Saturday's 3rd place play-off 1500hrs in the Dance Tent. Sunday's Final 1600hrs in the Main Marquee.
Whilst DVF 'officially' ends at 5pm Sunday, the Main Marquee (screen & bar) will remain open til 6pm for the game.
Yes, dogs are 100% welcome at DVF but please keep them on a lead in the show area.
Don't leave dogs unattended in cars, and don't forget the poo bags! We will provide dog drinking water in bowls at various places around the site.
If you see a dog, or any animal, suffering in a hot car please call the Police on 101 (or 999) and/or advise a member of the DVF Security team. If you were to smash a window to rescue a dog yourself you could face a charge of criminal damage (despite what you might have read on social media recently); if you believe it necessary to take immediate action then it's suggested you take a photo of the car & number plate, and the dog inside (and ideally a screenshot from a weather app showing the air temperature) before smashing any windows!
